FACILITY

The Challenger Learning Center is located on the Heartland Community College Normal, Illinois campus.
Visitors will find the entrance to the Challenger Learning Center at the northeast corner of the Community Education Center.
Upon entering the CLC guests are greeted by CLC staff at the Reception Desk.
The Gathering Room serves as the pre-mission center, activity room and lunch facility.
Astronauts and flight controllers receive the latest updates for their mission in the Briefing Room .
We do not have any problems in our control room when flight controllers follow their task cards in Mission Control.
Transport Module 1 carries 5th - 12th grade students and adults into space to dock with the spacecraft.
In the Spacecraft astronauts complete their station tasks to ensure their mission is a success.
In the Discovery Lab, K - 4th grade students investigate the different sciences.
Transport Module 2 lifts-off into space with our K - 4th grade students when they travel the Solar System.
