Family Science Day
Family Science Day is the Challenger Learning Center’s back-to-school celebration. Each September, hundreds of children and parents in Central Illinois can come and experience Math, Science and Technology in a fun and engaging way either through the interactive exhibit area or a guest speaker. Good Movie/Bad Science
Do you ever watch a science fiction and wonder which parts are science, which parts are fiction, and which parts are just plain fantasy? Now you can find out. Watch a popular sci-fi movie — but when the buzzer sounds, the movie stops, and CLC Flight Directors explain the bad science from the movie.
SciLabs and Science & a Story
Come to the CLC on your next day off of school! For students in 3rd-4th grade, SciLabs are an opportunity for you to investigate science topics using themes like Weather or Not, Levers and Wedges and Pulleys - Oh My!, and Attack of the Microbes! For students in K-2nd grade, Science & a Story you learn about those same science topics by listening to a story and completing a project related to the topic.

UNCOMMON KNOWLEDGE
The Challenger Learning Center, in conjunction with WGLT-FM and Illinois State University, has launched a new, weekly radio segment called “Uncommon Knowledge”.
The segment, which airs Sunday morning at 9:37 a.m. on 89.1 FM Bloomington-Normal/103.5 Peoria, is “a program designed to briefly explain everyday scientific events with a light, but rooted-in-science approach.” The program features CLC Flight Director Janet Moore.
CONFERENCE ROOMS
